James Edward Fulcher

Savannah- Mr. James Fulcher, 44, went home to the Lord Monday, November 19, 2007.

Jamie was born in Macon, Georgia but spent his life since early childhood in Savannah. He graduated from Sol C. Johnson High School in 1981 and worked for Aramark Uniform Services for 16 years as a production manager. Jamie was very passionate about his family and friends and loved nothing more than spending time with them. His greatest love was being out on the water, teaching his sons to fish, going camping and numerous fun filled vacations. He touched so many lives with his gentle ways, positive attitude and sense of humor. He was an inspiration to all. His father, John Clifton Fulcher, Sr., preceded him in death only three weeks ago.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Stephanie C. Fulcher; two sons, Justin & Tyler, all of Savannah; mother, Joan B. Fulcher; sisters, Laurie Schaffner and Marti Fulcher Taylor, all of Effingham County; brother, John C. Fulcher, Jr. of Savannah; mother-in-law, Ann and her husband Bill Barrow; sister-in-law, Jenifer and her husband Inan Isik, all of Savannah and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Wilmington Island with The Reverend Patrick O'Brien officiating.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in memory of James Fulcher - Melanoma Research to The Director at The National Cancer Institute, Building 31 Room 11A-16, 9000 Rockville Dr., Bethesda, MD 20892 or Greenville Children's Hospital, c/o Alee Shiners', 13 Eisenburg Dr., Savannah, GA 31405.
